Dear Governor Strickland,
My name is John Brennan. Included with this letter is a copy of a file I have sent to the Ohio Attorney General, Ohio
Homeland Security and the Clark County Prosecutor. For fourteen years I have investigated and worked to expose a wide spread,
old and secretive child abuse practice. Babies and children are repeatedly branded and abused, sexually and in many other
ways, through childhood. The damage done lasts a life time and is a cur on our society as it plays out.
The main symbol found is a burned scar tissue circle pattern on the forehead, a distinctive scar that has been repeatedly
associated with child abuse. This same mark shows up consistently on criminals (and others) who were abused as children, as
well as on American citizens joining al-qaeda to commit terrorist acts.
I have worked to put enough evidence together to prove this practice exists, so that law enforcement or children's services
would take over my work, with the ultimate goal of exposing this practice. Their resources are much deeper than mine. As my
information has been requested for investigations in two states I believe I have done my part. I am a disabled carpenter who
lives meagerly. I have funded my own work and have never made a dime from what I do. The pieces came together last year to
prove my claims.
When I heard of the James and Vonda Ferguson, Union/Clark counties child abuse case, I checked their pictures from different
cameras and it appears they have the circle pattern burns.
I then contacted Union County Sheriff lead detective John Klaiber to inform him to inform him of the circle pattern burn
on the Ferguson's and to suggest looking for it on the children. I though it might help support the case against them. He
kept asking me what I wanted from him today. His demeanor reminded me of the attitude of the Head of Cult Investigations for
the FBI when I talked to him in 1996. When I had told the agent about this practice of branding children his final words were,
"Its religious freedom. Don't call back. When I told this to Detective Klaiber, his response was, I believe that is the
case here.
That did not set well with me, it never had. Having a friend whose father is an Ohio Constitutional Law lawyer, I had
her ask him if religious freedom allows burning and sexual abuse of children? His emailed response was, "The first amendment
does not allow child abuse in any form." That is when I decided it was time to contact the Attorney General's office.
Now that I have made bold to send this latest information to the State Police and/or the Attorney Generals in three states,
as well as local police, sheriffs and Children's Services. This has put me on the radar for any active members who are also
in any of these agencies.
I have been told, by those who counsel these victims, that it is found out that I am trying to expose this practice by
active participants, that they will kill me. It is something I have been aware of and is of more concern to me now than in
times past. I have made a commitment that I intend to live up to. That does not mean I have a death wish.
I have believed that since you are a psychologist, as well as governor that you would have a better understanding of the
implications. This practice is real and it is taking a heavy toll in crime and misery in our state and nation. I do not have
the resources to do all of the work that is needed to; track the extent of crime, the sociopath increase, child murders, deaths
and abuse, effects on homeland security, or programs to expose this practice in a healthy way.
Whenever there is a crime I cannot comprehend how a person could do such a thing, I start looking for this mark. I find
it most of the time.
Ultimately, since I believe it is possible I am in greater possible jeopardy, I believe it is in my best interest to inform
key people of my work. As law enforcement is willing to accept, and at times request, my information for the individual cases
they are working, it has become apparent that, and I have been told, they will do nothing to bring this information into the
public forum.
In the past, I have avoided openly going to the press for fear of exposure. I am now considering that that may be a safer
way to go. It is my intent to continue sending this information and pictures to government agencies and representatives as
I can afford to do so. Until some legitimate action is taken, I am stepping forward as an advocate for the victims of this
practice.
I ask you, If we do not recognize a problem that is the source of much violent crime and anguish, let alone a domestic
threat to national security, how are we to do anything preventative? Why would we choose not to?
I understand that this practice is a lot to absorb and it is not something anyone wants to believe or admit is real. And,
what police, sheriff or state police would invest time and resources into something so obscure? Their focus is on the immediate
crime, and there is always an immediate crime. The problem is obscure, but it is real and extensive.
I thank you for your time. I merely felt safer informing you. Anyone trained to recognize this mark expands the amount
of people that know. I have no expectations of you. Should you know of any agencies, institutions or organizations that would
be interested in my work please feel free to give them my contact information as I would like to move my work to the next
level. There is much to be done.
